The White Lady B&B and Camping situated 35Km from the Brandberg
with it's famous 'White Lady' painting. We opened our doors for
tourist on 1 September 2001 and are in the town Uis, previously
a Tin mining town.
We have 6 double rooms with en-suite bathrooms, swimmingpool, BBQ
facilities and a thatched roof lapa where breakfast is served. The
thatched rooms have overhead fans, percolators and freezers in all
the rooms.
We have a camping site at the back. Hot water showers, ladies and
gents toilets, scullery and BBQ places. We made a small waterfall
down a little kopje, running into a pond, where thousands of Nama
Sandgrouse come to drink and bath in the mornings for about 75%
of the year, a paradise for birdwatchers, with Namakwa doves, Finches,
Mountain chats, Eagles and Falcons.
