The company was founded by Louis Reichert
because of his love for the desert and the great
outdoors. At Sandtracks, we are very concerned about damage done to the sparse vegetation and the very fragile eco-system in the desert by inexperienced and uneducated drivers.

It is our opinion that many persons that venture off road do not realize the capabilities of their vehicles and the pitfalls that could cause damage to the vehicles, passengers and nature due to recklessness. Therefore at Sandtracks we offer you the opportunity of a guided tour through the beautiful dune belt or Namib Naukluft Park and experience the true magic of Namibia in a safe and eco-friendly fashion.
