By using historical photographs in
a carefully
arranged album of the "old Swakopmund"
Mrs. Flamm-Schneeweiss leads you in small groups
for approximately 1,5 to 2 hours through the small coastal town.
The meeting place & starting point of
this tour, is the Swakopmund Museum, because of
the Mole, where Swakopmund's history began.
This tour does not entirely consist of facts and figures, but rather
urban history, with the help of pictures of the lifestyle. We trust
this tour will answer every question you have about everyday life
in the Namibia of today.
The tour of the town is concluded on the Woermann
tower. There, the view from above, reminds the visitor of the fact
that this really is in Africa, between desert and sea, although
he may have felt transferred to Europe for a short time owing to
the town's unique architecture and the adept and historically founded
remarks from Mrs. Flamm-Schneeweiss.
