Cape Cross Lodge
It was at this desolate spot, in 1486, more than 500 years ago,
that Europeans first set foot on the
southern end of Africa. Cape Cross remains much as
it was then, a rocky promontory on the Skeleton Coast of Namibia.On
the edge of the desert, overlooking the ocean literally meters away
- Cape Cross Lodge. Cape Cross Lodge is the only privately owned
land on this coastline with a beachfront. Access is easy by passenger
vehicle and for charter flights, as the
airstrip in a five minute drive from the lodge.
We offer luxury double rooms with attention to personal detail in
classically appointed rooms, all with en-suite bathroom, private
balconies and unrestricted views. The lodge caters lunch for day
visitors and is a perfect stop for groups traveling to and from
the Skeleton Coast or Damaraland.The
lounge and dining areas feature individual fire places ensuring
a warm and cozy atmosphere. For small groups an a la carte menu
is available and a buffet, for larger groups. the cocktail bar and
private wine cellar provides a selection of fine wines and spirits.
